A 'poetry of ideas', marrying information with emotion through cinematic language, 'of Things' suggests a depth of consequence behind a lazy sunday afternoon. Employing comparison, metaphor and simple progressions of thought, the film reinforces the possibility of relationships between phenomena, endowing us with an agency to recognize the universe firsthand, reminding us that human understanding and all of its labors are an authored system of relations.

Made in collaboration through the San Francisco based collective, PRACTICE: Nick Sung, Erin Klenow, Najeeb Tarazi, and Martin Jankowiak.

From a series of seven short films made, and exhibited online, for CORE77.
