Mitschnitt der doxs! Preisverleihung während des 18. doxs!-Filmfestivals auf der 43. Duisburger Filmwoche.
Den ECFA DOC AWARD 2019 erhielt Cassandra Offenberg für ihren Film CHAMP (NL 2019). Die ECFA Jury, bestehend aus Nicola Jones (Festivalleitung Goldener Spatz), Dimitra Kouzi (Produzentin und Filmemacherin) und Viktoria Ebel (Goethe-Institut Paris), zeigte sich begeistert: „Ohne es explizit zu thematisieren, vermittelt der Film einen Einblick in den familiären Zusammenhalt, der durch drei Generationen von Frauen sowie ihren Migrationshintergrund geprägt ist. […] Durch die drei Formate digital, 16 mm und Smartphone schafft es die Filmemacherin, eine atmosphärische Dichte zu kreieren, die im Kino ein intensives Seherlebnis bietet.“
Die Jurorinnen hatten die Wahl zwischen 9 nominierten Filmen aus dem Festivalprogramm, die sich an die Altersgruppen der Sechs- bis Zwölfjährigen richten.
Cassandra Offenberg received the ECFA DOC AWARD 2019 for her film CHAMP (NL 2019). The ECFA jury, consisting of Nicola Jones (festival director Goldener Spatz), Dimitra Kouzi (producer and filmmaker) and Viktoria Ebel (Goethe-Institut Paris), was enthusiastic: "Without explicitly making it a theme, the film provides an insight into the family cohesion shaped by three generations of women and their migration background. [...] Through the three formats digital, 16 mm and smartphone, the filmmaker manages to create an atmospheric density that offers an intense visual experience in the cinema."
The jurors had the choice between 9 nominated films from the festival programme, which are aimed at the age groups of six to twelve year olds.
