Celest had a fun night at the bar with her friends and decided to walk home by herself. She shouldn't have. On her way home, she crosses through a train yard and see's something she isn't supposed to see. There's one thing about the mob everyone should know; the mob hates witnesses.
This film was made within 48 hours. The genre, character name, character occupation and main prop was given at 5pm on Friday, Feb. 24th, 2012. The script was written that night and shot all day the next day. Overnight Saturday into Sunday, this film was edited and at 5pm Sunday, Feb 26th, 2012 the film was submitted for the 48 Hour Film Slam film festival at Central Washington University. Unfortunately (and obviously), this short did not receive any awards. Not expecting any awards for this short, I still enjoyed working on it as it was my first real production of any sort.
I was an actor, co-creator, co-editor, producer, and co-writer on this project. I owe (more than) half the credit in those positions to my partner Kevin O'Donnell.
