A true story about Julia Matthews (then known as Julia Vandeluer,) experiences as school captain of All Hallows’ School Brisbane in 1981.
Julia tells of her experiences while at the historic 150 year old school, and what it was like to be in the presence of Mother Theresa as a young catholic girl.
“She had always been a real icon to me,” Julia said.
“I couldn’t take my eyes off her.”
Julia also explains the differences between what it was like to go to All Hallows in 1981, and how it has changed since her own daughters have attended the school.
“All Hallows’ looks pretty much the same,” Julia said.
“But it was a different world back then.”
