On the streets of Singapore's Chinatown, a man finds something out of the ordinary. Set against the urban landscape: towering skyscrapers, conserved shop-houses, alleys, and side-streets, he embarks on a journey that most might consider - irrational.

This film is a tribute to Singapore's changing urban landscape. As a Singaporean, it is something I am particularly fond of. Filmed around the civic and business district, I wanted to capture it's beauty and honesty.
Here, old and new stand side by side - The result of conscious government conservation efforts. At the same time, the march of modernity and progress often swings its executioner's axe, or racking ball, upon other old buildings.
What does history mean to us? Is there room for history, and sentimentality, when forward progress is our raison d'etre? These are some questions I hope to raise with this film.
I hope that both local and international viewers will enjoy my film. This is my first stab at film-making, and boy was it a fun/steep learning curve. Comments and thoughts welcome!
