Barry and Joe have to choose the right horses to maintain their chances of winning the race. It's halfway through day five of the Mongol Derby. They've completed 14 stages, but the wet weather makes for an uncomfortable ride. The brothers-in-law have gone from being stone last to 2nd and 3rd position, and are about an hour behind leader, fellow South African Craig Egberink, but the Chinese team is hot on their heels. On day six things take a turn for the worse at their first vet check of the day as Barry gets a two hour penalty – a delay that could ultimately cost them the race.
