Independence in Sight is a short documentary about visually impaired teenagers who strive for independence through skills they learn at the Hatlen Center for the Blind. This film was a part of the Bay Area Video Coalition's Community Filmmaking Partnerships.
Independence in Sight has screened at several film festivals including the San Francisco International Film Festival and the Santa Cruz Film Festival. It has also won Best Documentary Award at the Cineyouth Film Festival and 1st Prize in Documentary Filmmaking at The Josiah Media Festival.
