This was during a very stormy evening. It was almost completly dark during the fink shots.
It was a very windy day, with gusts up to 100 Km/h. My tripod was completely useless and unstable, and I had to put the camera on solid things and brace it - and it would still shake and jitter, despite having OS. I could barely see what I was shooting, and my eyes were full of tears most of the time.
Sound? what sound? there was no sound - just roar.
This video was shot entirely with a Sigma 70-200 APO DG HSM OS Lens (the newest model, with the smooth finish), mounted on a canon 60D, with magic lantern (the magic zoom helped a lot) and Technicolor CineStyle. This is a very sharp lens (when you can see what to focus on) - cheek out 00:44-00:59, and the waves from 01:35 to 01:42.
Edited, color corrected and graded on FCP X, with colorgradingcentral.com cineLook and S curve, which works wonders.
