Jeff Jarivs is an American author and a visionary. He also teaches interactive journalism at the City University of New York’s Graduate School of Journalism.

Jarvis has published two well-known book. ""What would Google do?" (2009) and "Public Parts: How Sharing in the Digital Age Improves the Way We Work and Live" (2011). In the latter one, he defends the openness of the internet and argues against regulations to protect privacy.

The MaG asked him how the internet will change freedom of movement.
