The wellness program offers rewards for participation including insurance premium discounts for participants on the W&L health insurance plan and Main Street Lexington gift certificates for those who are not. Employees who participate can earn a $25 to $50 per month deduction off their insurance premium payment. Employees who cover their spouses/partners on their plan can earn an additional deduction for spouse participation, and single parents can earn a $40-$75 monthly premium deduction depending on their level of participation. Additional incentive participation, such as a salad bar discount, are also part of the wellness program.
Newcomers Club: The Newcomers Club sponsors various events to welcome the newest members of our community and provide opportunities for new faculty and staff to become acquainted. Activities are open to those hired in the last three years.
