The iconic Ellen Theatre underwent a facelift this year (2019) with the addition of a new marquee, reader board and front entry doors. Aiming to restore the Ellen Theatre back to how it looked when Fred Willson originally designed it 100 years ago, the original blueprints were updated by Cikan Architects. Martel Construction reached out to Brandner Design to tackle the task of the new marquee and entry doors. Utilizing laser cutting and forming services at Brandner Design's sister company, True Cut Laser, Brandner stacked the layers of precision cut and formed steel and brass to bring the marquee back to life in a way that John Ludin, owner of the Ellen Theatre and the entire community can be proud of and enjoy for many years to come.
