This was an impromptu film experiment for the B.f.E (Big Folkin' Experiment), with founding member, Liam Gallagher. I wanted to create a film that was stripped down and that solely focused on the music. The inspiration for this experiment, for both Liam, and myself stems from, Blogotheque's Take Away Shows, Beck's Record Club, and the French New Wave.
Aspect ratio: 2.35:1
All the filming was done on the Canon T2i using only the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 and Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens.
The monitor of choice was the SmallHD DP6-SDI.
Audio was recorded live using the Zoom H4n, Azden SGM-1X shotgun mic, and a Behringer B-2 Pro condenser mic. The two main H4n mics were not used for the final mix of the film, just the two external mics.
Lighting: I wanted to take advantage of the ambient sunlight as a hard backlight. I used one 650watt with 1 Full Single and 1 Full Double scrim, and 1/4 diffusion for a side Key.
The film was edited on FCP7.
