Inspired by her own experiences as former Science Editor for The Journal of Clinical Investigation and Chief Scientific Officer at the New York Academy of Sciences, Brooke Grindlinger is committed to engaging diverse audiences about science, supporting the professional development of scientists, and encouraging women and girls to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
For over a decade Brooke has been a thought leader in the area of scientific publishing, possessing unique insight and access that she shares in her keynote presentation 'Editor’s Guide to Writing and Publishing Your Paper.' An experienced moderator, facilitator, and host, Brooke educates and inspires audiences to take action. She brings her expertise in life sciences, physical sciences, and engineering to headlining topics at the intersection of science and society, easily establishing rapport with audiences and panels alike.
A scientist and communications executive, Brooke has spoken to over 10,000 people at colleges, conferences, events, and corporations.
