On the central plateau region of Mali, along the Bandiagara Escarpment, lies the Dogon country. The Dogon people are known for their mask dances, their architecture and religious traditions.
In this video, I show you how the Dogon used to live, up in the cliffs and how they live today, down on the plains.
In 2010, I visited Mali and the Dogon country. We walked from Bandiagara, through Tele, Djuigibombo, Ennde and other small Dogon villages.
In this first part of my travel through the Dogon country, I show you mainly Tele.
I apologize for some not so good sound n this video.
