A nation wide celebration of young theatre talent.
The National Theatre and its partner theatres across the UK are working with 200 passionate and committed young theatre companies as part of Connections 2012. You might be a youth theatre company, a school theatre group, studying for a GCSE, BTEC or A level, or perhaps a group of young people after a new challenge. National Theatre Connections gives young people the chance to stage a brand new play, written for actors aged 13-19, in your home venue and at a festival with other Connections companies in a professional theatre. The National Theatre are on hand with support and advice on choosing the script, staging your play and also offer an intensive week-end’s training for the directors of each young company. You’ll get advice from one of the National Theatre’s directors and from the professional theatre hosting your festival.
Thomas Tallis School are thrilled to showcase the talents of their young people through the exciting play ‘So You Think You’re A Superhero’ written by Paven Virk.
