The video's subject, shapes floating freely in water, is suggestive of "free radicals," in both the biological and the political sense of the term. Free radicals are atoms or groups of atoms with an odd (unpaired) number of electrons and can be formed when oxygen interacts with certain molecules. The free-radical theory of aging states that organisms age because cells accumulate free radical damage over time.
Similarly, political radicals tend to be damaging to the status quo, which may or may not be a good thing. The rulers guarding the status quo prefer to have radicals under tight control. Referring to radical critics as ter$rori@sts allows the state to use force against them.
