Marcus Fischer asked about decaying envelopes for plucky sounds and Martin Mestres asked if they could be implemented for loops. turns out, both very fun. go short (100ms) for percs + organic pings, go long (up to 60 seconds) for slowwwwwwww decays.
a few folks asked about the pattern recorders picking up zilchmo gestures, specifically the fourth row. so, pattern recorders have two flavors now: classic + rad sauce. Zilchmo's Za remains an unending source of delicious inspiration.
classic: v1 behavior. you record pad presses, you play them back. zilchmo modifications change the pads parameters *as* the patterns play back. great for morphing looping patterns + quick shifts.
rad sauce: new behavior! performance recording. pad presses *and* the fourth row of the zilchmo right-angle slice are recorded. when the pattern plays back, it plays pre and post-zilchmo.
(oo, also, pattern rec button now pulses at selected bpm!)
gorgeous samples provided by Zilchmo himself (voice) + the supremely talented Atticus Lazenby (synth)
