The film “Far away future” provides a glimpse in the life of friends Gaja and Nana; two teenage girls on the verge of becoming women. They are part of the Himba tribe living in Koakaveld, in the North of Namibia. Spoken in native tongue, under titled in English, “Far away future” is a culturally rich, informative and grippingly entertaining production. Film was chosen at the Filmfestivals of Bolivia, Cuba and the Dutch Filmfestival 2008.
In 2008 draaide op verschillende Film festivals de docudrama "Far Away Future". De film geeft een beeld van 2 puber meisjes in de Himba stam in t uiterste N-W van Namibia. Een meisje wil graag in haar cultuur blijven de andere wil haar geluk in de Stad zoeken. De film is rijk aan mooie shots en muziek met een ode aan een mooie cultuur.
