The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation turned to crankyfish to mark the closure of Australia's first nuclear reactor, HIFAR. In telling the story, we felt it was important to portray the experiences of those who worked there and so what could have parlayed into a dry exposition of an obsolete concrete building became a heartfelt rendering of the real core of HIFAR: the people behind it.
