As seen at "Kunst voor Pampus 2011". Fortress Island Pampus was build to defend Amsterdam against enemies. There was never one single act of war throughout the whole existence of the Island. The men encamped at the Fortress (early 20th century) must have bored themselves to death. I wondered what they said to each other and pasted those phrases on the wall - all starting with the letter F (light reference to Fortress Pampus). This in combination with red strobe lights and the sound of a real bombardment. What would have happened if the men were forced to fight there?
