Task: The service portfolios of companies are becoming increasingly complex due to today's technological change. In addition, technical terms are emerging that cause disorientation among customers and employees. The flood of information is particularly high at international trade fairs. Therefore, Deloitte Digital developed an engaging and creative solution that makes its diverse world and sub-brands, as well as technology partners and solutions, easy to experience.
Idea: The "Map of Knowledge" was created for DMEXCO: a visual Wiki, which shows structure, brands and methods in a unique interface. Embedded in an interactive monolith, the content is divided into a meta-level (core areas) and a sub-level (use cases). A timeless design completes the visual landscape and offers the visitor a new way of interaction. The installation covers the core areas of the company: technology, consulting and creativity.
Solution: The multi-touch installation allows the user to navigate intuitively through the content. The surface is not a digital screen, but a projection surface made of elastic gauze that reacts to pressure. This provided an activation of the visitors to deal with the content. A combination of Kinect, rear projection and textile screen creates the Map of Knowledge. The emotional material reflected Deloitte Digital's purpose "Elevating the Human Experience".
