PASSAGE OF TIME
Timelapse in 16 Hours
Province of Quezon, Philippines
It was in 2009 when I first got the chance to shoot this place. Every year since then, I came back. This video is the fruit of my 2012 visit. Shots done in 16 hours only. Take notice of the second to the last video clip (1:32). It’s a continuous shoot from sunset to sunrise, 12 hours. It’s my first attempt to capture sunset colors, transition from day-to-night, star trails, tide movements, sunrise colors, all in one continuous timelapse.
Mag-asawang Bato became an icon of Padre Burgos. You can search the net for the best images from the many Filipino photographers. This is my humble contribution.
The music is by Jeremy Camp. I wish to inject a good subliminal meaning to the video in time for Lent. “Let the old life crumble. Let it fade.”

Special thanks to Mr. Eric Elardo for his usual kindness and hospitality.
