¿Cuál es el origen de la identidad del fútbol en Argentina y qué elementos socioculturales la definen? El documental intentará descifrar esta incógnita a través del evento futbolístico a nivel de clubes más importante y apasionante del mundo, el “Clásico” entre Boca y River. ¿Pero estos clubes representan la verdadera identidad del fútbol argentino, o las políticas neoliberales del Siglo XX lo han modificado todo, obligándonos a volver al barrio, al club social, al club pequeño? Y así encontrar esa celebración que distingue al fútbol argentino del resto del mundo.

What is the origin of the soccer identity in Argentina and which sociocultural elements define it? This Documentary will try to answer that question through soccer events at the level of the most important and exciting clubs of the world, the classic one between Boca and River. But do these clubs represent the true identity of Argentine soccer? Or have the neoliberal policies of the XX century modified it all? ; thus forcing us to return to the neighborhood, the social club, the small club? Would that allow us the celebration that distinguishes Argentinian soccer from the rest of the world?
