The story of a Soviet Gulag prisoner. Madame Irena was a soldier of the Polish World War II Resistance (Armia Krajowa). After Vilnius, where she lived under the German occupation, was liberated by the Red Army, she was arrested by the Soviets and deported to Siberia. She spent four years in the forced labor camps, in Saratov, Kutaisi and in Borovitsche.
Madame Irena's story was recorded and broadcast in Radio Merkury, Poznan. It is illustrated with the photos from the occupied Vilnius district and from Gulag.
