Every day, millions of women and children spend hours collecting water from distant, often polluted, sources. The Clean Water Access Initiative, a partnership between Tyco and Action Against Hunger, aims to help these communities access safe water and sanitation. This video chronicles a recent project in the NTT province of Indonesia, where nearly half the children are underweight. Water borne illnesses can prevent children from absorbing nutrients. Action Against Hunger and Tyco are working to change this by providing a clean, protected source of safe drinking water closer to the community.
