Mutianyu near Beijing, a tourist hotspot of the so-called Great Wall, a memorial stone written in four languages, German at the top: Once intended to ward of enemy attacks today it brings together the peoples of the world. May it continue to act as a symbol of friendship for future generations. The authors thank the German company Henkel for helping with the reconstruction. The stone is dated to May 1989, at the same time protests take place 100 kilometers south at Tiananmen Square. A few months later the Berlin Wall falls.

Inspired by diferent flm genres, theatre and virtual spaces these myths are taken apart and reassembled into an intimate yet volatile narrative.
