For Connan, being gay wasn't important. For the longest time he kept those feeling bottled up, never to act upon them. No one would have to know he was gay because he wasn't going to flaunt it. If people thought he were straight then he would have no problems. He lived his life that way until he met James. He seemed so confident about it all. He didn't care about what people thought about him. Connan wanted to be more like that but he wasn't ready to invite the torment and bullying into his life. But he would soon find himself falling for James, and James for him.
James is out of the closet, but his boyfriend Connan isn't. He knows that Connan is new to this all, but isn't so happy about having to have a secret relationship with him. Maybe he just needs a little nudge out of the closet. But when Connan disagrees, James questions their relationship. He is gay, right? Is it just the sex that keeps Connan coming back?
