Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre is a Toronto-based repertoire company created to provide dancers under 19 years of age with a professional performance alternative to prevailing competition, examination, and recital options. Founded in 1980 by Deborah Lundmark and Michael deConinck Smith, CCDT strives to nurture the highest calibre of versatile dance artists through advanced-level training in Limón Modern and RAD Ballet techniques combined with extensive performance and touring opportunities of a varied modern and contemporary repertoire.
