This is a film about journeys, transitions and fleeting moments. Shadows cast by trees in the West Pavilion of Los Angeles’ Getty Museum provide a backdrop for cameo narratives and rhythms of everyday life. Planted in 1997, these trees were 23 years old at the time of filming. A London Plane tree, a natural hybrid between an Eastern American and an Asian Sycamore, represents a common 17th century phenomena and further marks the passage of time.
