Dismantling, not Demolishing: The Removal of Palast der Republik

Ethnographic documentary made along the removal of Palast der Republik, the parliament building of German Democratic Republic in Berlin. The film juxtaposes the state rhetoric which advocated the buildings' removal, to the experiences and opinions of people who have actually used it.
