we waited til the last possible minute to grid for this race; it LOOKED like it was going to rain, but 10 mins before the start of the race it was still dry; I went out on very very worn Toyo RA-1s (this was their 10th race); totally slick without even the two circular grooves. of course, it began to rain immediately, on the pace lap! i ran the car at 10/10ths and used every ounce of my skill; the track was treacherous; many many many offs and crashes by the other cars! i finished 1st in PTE, and 4th overall in Stinger group (small bore). the two Spec E30s that passed me on the last lap were really duelling it out for first in Spec E30 (they were on wet tires!). i had a PTE guy on my tail the entire time, and had to drive for my life! enjoy.
