Synopsis: A young man journeys into the wilds of the Blue Ridge Mountains in search of something greater.
"Quiet Mountain" is a 5-minute experimental short film about slowing down, even coming to a complete stop, and listening. If Wordsworth, Thoreau, Rilke, and Han Yu all came together to craft a visual poem, composed from the striking imagery of the Appalachian winter, it might feel something like this.
Vimeo is our venue of first release, but we will also be submitting shortly (and just in time!) to the YouTube sponsored "Your Film Festival" ( youtube.com/user/yourfilmfestival ), a grassroots, global gathering of new films and storytellers, spearheaded by the rather remarkable pairing of Ridley Scott and Michael Fassbender!
Other festival submissions also await us in the near future. Your support is deeply appreciated, and best of all, rejuvenating.
