A webinar to introduce VM0018 Energy Efficiency and Solid Waste Diversion Activities within a Sustainable Community, a new methodology to quantify GHG emission reductions from a range of energy efficiency and waste diversion activities.
The methodology can be used to calculate emission reductions from activities that improve energy efficiency and waste management practices in residential, commercial, institutional or industrial buildings and facilities. Activities can include recycling, composting and installing more efficient heating, cooling and lighting systems, among others.
The methodology was developed by Quebec-based Will Solutions (formerly Gedden Inc.) together with ICF Marbek and CertiConseil. The methodology was assessed by two validation bodies under the VCS methodology approval process: DNV Climate Change Services and SGS United Kingdom.
