Some very good friends of ours (Bob and Dee) recommended Everly Films to Chelsea, not to be confused with the cinematographer, and Grant. We are so very thankful that they did. Not only was this one of the funnest weddings we have ever been to, we left feeling like we made new friends, the Bride and Groom.
We love the amount of detail and all of the creative touches that went into putting this wedding together. One of my favorites was the brides dress. Not only was her dress gorgeous, she had the date stitched onto the bottom on the front underneath part of her dress. When she picked up the front you could see she had horse shoes facing up to catch good luck. With a horse shoe if they are facing down, the luck drips out. This also tied in her "something blue" as it was blue stitching.
As the guests rolled in off the dirt road, parked there cars and made there way up to where the ceremony was being held. They were greeted by a Beer Donkey. That is right, a Beer Donkey. It was a real, live, adorable donkey that had basically an ice chest on it's back. Guests were given a beer and a beer cuzie as the walked up . . . freaking amazing! The guests had to write on and sign pieces of a puzzle, which was a picture of the bride and groom. Another first for us and an incomparable detail.
This wedding and reception had everything any cowboy or cowgirl could want! Cowboy boots, horses, horse shoes, dirt, camp fires and beer.
Once the guests had their ice cold beer in hand, they headed over to the benches which were placed perfectly in front of Chelsea and Grant's back drop which was a stylishly decorated barn. At the end of each bench was an arrangement of Sticks and branches intertwined and at the bottom sat a lit candle surrounded by rose petals.
We have to agree that Chelsea and Grant's vows were a testament to how perfect they are for one another. They did not read them before hand, but it was almost as if they sat down and planned it. They were both humorous with how they talked about how they love each other for being Patriots fans, this was just one thing they mentioned that was the same.
Now to the party! There reception was exactly what they wanted. Everyone was dancing having a great time, if you didn't like dancing you could also play corn hole. Seriously, what is complete without corn hole? They also had 3 huge camp fires built out side for their guests to enjoy. Like I said, this was one of the funnest weddings we have been to. The bride and groom partied it up with each other and their guests and we were so happy we were able to be the ones to capture it all for them.
Chelsea and Grant, we loved being around your crazy sense of humor, your smiles, your creativity and your party for an entire day! We wish you lots of upward horse shoes in your many years of marriage together ;)
