This was shot on the Canon t3i, 24mm lens. Edited in Sony Vegas Pro, modest color, brightness, and contrast adjustments were done in post. It was ridiculously windy at some points during the filming of this and the matte box was becoming an issue. One easy solution to reduce flare is to simply put your hand just above the lens to create a shadow and block out reflections. It's low tech, but it really works! Just keep your hand out of the shot. There was some heavy rain a couple of weeks ago and everything that is normally brown has turned green. It's pretty spectacular---that's what we were trying to capture a sense of.
