Le nouveau film de Vincent Duvignac raconte son dernier trip au Maroc, sur un spot qu’il avait surfé pour la première fois il y a 20 ans.

Vincent :

« Avec des prévisions optimistes et après une année de blessures, il était enfin temps de retourner dans cette partie du Maroc que j'aime tant.

La veille du départ, au moment de prendre les billets, je me suis rendu compte que ça faisait exactement 20 ans que j'avais eu le privilège de faire mon tout premier voyage et de découvrir cette vague, grâce à mon sponsor de l'époque. J'avais alors l'impression d'en avoir plus appris de la vie et de moi-même en une semaine qu'en 12 ans d'existence, une belle claque !

Les swells se sont exceptionnellement enchaînés cette année, et après des mois de bon surf sur l'hexagone, l'appel évident du Maroc a été reçu par bon nombre de surfeurs européens et même américains. C'était l'occasion pour le jeune adolescent de Mimizan Noa Dupouy d'embarquer avec moi pour un trip qu'il n'est pas prêt d'oublier. »

Vincent Duvignac's new film tells the story of his last trip to Morocco, on a spot he first surfed 20 years ago.

"With optimistic predictions and after a year of injuries, it was finally time to return to that part of Morocco that I love so much.

The day before the departure, when I was picking up the tickets, I realised that it had been exactly 20 years since I had the privilege of making my very first trip and discovering this wave, thanks to my sponsor at the time. I then had the impression that I had learned more about life and myself in one week than I had in 12 years of existence, a nice slap in the face!

The swells were exceptionally chained this year, and after months of good surfing in France, the obvious call from Morocco was received by many European and even American surfers. It was an opportunity for the young teenager from Mimizan Noa Dupouy to embark with me on a trip he won't forget any time soon."
