O Ciclo do Pão é uma reconstituição histórica da importancia do pão no Alentejo. O filme mostra a ceifa manual, a debulha, a transformação do grão em farinha num moinho de rio, a confecção do pão e a cozedura em forno de lenha e o tradicional almoço no campo acompanhado de cante alentejano.

The Cycle of Bread is a historical reconstruction of the importance of bread in the Alentejo. The film shows the manual harvesting, threshing, the transformation of grain into flour in a mill river, and the making of bread baking in wood-fired oven and traditional lunch in the field accompanied by Alentejo songs.
