Benetton Live Windows is an initiative by Fabrica, Benetton research centre on communication, conceived to create a new language between people and retail space. Thanks to a co-operative network among major educational and cultural institutions, it promotes young talented designers and publishes their works on the mediawalls of selected Benetton flagship stores all over the world.
Take a look at this contribution from Italian designer Fortuna Todisco: she realized some illustrations showing very normal women, each one with her own identity (the old one, the fat one, the one with tattoos etc.), all of them naked apart from the head covered by a headgear. In Fortuna’s concept, this is an allusion to the fact that in today’s society women cannot really express their intellectual abilities.
