After months of planning, then a week of rehearsals with heavy percussion loaded-in, the COVID-19 outbreak resulted in cancellation of this concert. To honor the work of these musicians and composers, at a time when all performing artists are vulnerable to closures, filmmaker H. Paul Moon created this concert film at the Hirshhorn National Museum of Modern Art at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. The auditorium was mostly empty, with prudent distancing measures taken, while the music played on. To follow along with a written program, download the PDF at: focuspulling.com/3-21program.pdf
