Bounce Back: Reclaim Your Health™ is a free skills-building program for adults experiencing low mood or stress with or without anxiety. It offers two kinds of evidence-based self-help:
1) "Living Life to the Full" DVD - 45-minute video with 8 sections that provide practical tips on recognizing and dealing with depressive thoughts, behaviours, and events. Available in Cantonese & Mandarin or English (as previewed in this 6-minute clip).
2) Workbooks with Telephone-Coaching - 3 to 5 self-selected sessions that introduce and reinforce the application of cognitive-behavioral strategies for improving mood by overcoming difficulties such as inactivity, insomnia, worry, and unhelpful thinking.
Bounce Back is offered throughout British Columbia by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and funded by the BC Ministry of Health - Integrated Primary & Community Care.
