Testing a new anamorphic setup.
Isco Ultra Cinemascope anamorphic lens (1.7x) from Vid-Atlantic (including vamp clamp). Minimum focusing distance is 5 feet (without macro filter).
Hacked Panasonic GH2 with Driftwood's Sedna A Q20 patch.(VBR @ around 95mbps) and 24H quality.
Picture profile: Standard at -2, -2, -1, 0.
Recorded in full HD and squeezed to 1920x624.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 lens set to f/2.8.
77mm Singh-Ray Vari-N-Trio (variable ND, polarizing and warming filter) mounted in front of Isco lens. A 72-77mm step ring fit exactly on the isco. I taped it to the front, since the Isco has no filter thread.
I'm planning to use a Helios 44-4 58mm f/2.0 lens but it hasn't arrived yet :) Setting the aperture on the Canon lens can only be done with a Canon body, so it's a bit cumbersome.
The footage is straight from the GH2. Nothing done in post other than the squeeze.
