In August 2011this couple and I met up in Ventura, California to record their love story. In this segment they share how they met, and what, in addition to God's awesome handiwork, attracted them to each other. Candid and heartfelt, it was really neat to see their personalities shine through that day.
From a technical standpoint, I wanted to capture their interaction during the golden hour, so we arrived late in the afternoon, closer to evening. As our shots progressed, as witnessed in the video, the sun was setting. We ran out of light toward the end of the shoot, but I think we managed to get some awesome footage. I used my GH2 and trusty 50mm Canon FD lens, shooting in 720p for possible slow-motion use.
While I know the bride and groom enjoyed themselves, the joy I felt being able to capture these memories was great as well! :-)
