March 24, 2020. Welcome back to our 13,000 teachers who teleworked yesterday. In light of the recent county and state decisions for a stay-at-home order until April 30, the Department will be adjusting our plans to continue to align with these important parameters for health and safety. By the end of the week, we will be sharing the planning work accomplished by you, our teachers and principals, that will guide us through the end of the year. I want to thank each and every one of the Department’s 44,000 employees for working in new ways during these unusual times.
