Rev. Moore preaches from the Gospel of Mark this Easter morning, chapter 16, verses 1 thru 8. He begins his sermon by recounting the story of a goose crossing one of Oklahoma City's busiest streets, imagining the many varied reactions of the drivers to the goose and contrasting them with those of the disciples to Jesus' crucifixion. Rev. Moore concludes with an examination of the ending of the passage in Mark, suggesting that the author makes us responsible for continuing the Easter story. Recorded Apr. 8, 2012 from the pulpit of Mayflower Congregational UCC Church in Oklahoma City.
