A young woman becomes the mother of all sea creatures. As the goddess of the sea, Sassuma Arnaa has dominion over her creatures and controls the availability of seal, walrus, fish, whale, and other sea animals to Inuit hunters. This version is a modern take of the Greenlandic myth. In no words the myth tells the story of how greed and our treatment of nature makes Sassuma Arnaa angry.
It’s is our turn to listen to the mother of the sea. What she has to tell is important for mankind, nature and all the creatures.
