Bill Cosh has served as the spokeperson for the WI state Department of Natural Resources since his appointment by DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp in July 2011. Prior to that, he was spokesperson for the WI state Department of Justice where he was appointed by Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen in 2008. Cosh previously served as a research assistant for State Rep. Dan Meyer and as the senior education policy advisor under Gov. Scott McCallum. Cosh began his career as an assistant in the Office of the Chancellor for UW-Madison while a student at the Robert M. La Follette Institute of Public Affairs. He holds two master's degrees from UW-Madison, one in Public Policy and Administration from La Follette and one in Industrial Relations.
