This is a demonstration video of an on-going master's thesis project in the Sound and Music Computing Group at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
AUTHOR: Elías Zea.
PROJECT SUPERVISORS: Roberto Bresin and Sten Ternström.
A motion capture system was used to track the orientation and position of a smartphone that was recording the video. Meanwhile, a computer creates an immersive music environment with three fixed sources (double bass, drums and piano ) in Pure Data (PD). A room impulse response and binaural sound with Head-related Transfer Functions are used to convolve the individual audio signals in PD.
