This is the inaugural online webinar in the Sustainable Textile Teach-in Series hosted by the Textile Museum of Canada, with support from the Chawkers Foundation. "Repurposing old sweaters" was lead by guest facilitators, the eco art collective Works-in-Progress. WIP artists Marnie Saskin shared her textile knowledge on how to break down old sweaters into a useful material, shared examples of future projects and lead a simple sewing project with 20+ participants: making hand-warmers.
