Dele Olojede accepts the 2011 John P. McNulty Prize on November 17, 2011. Dele Olojede founded 234NEXT, the first reliable investigative newspaper in Nigeria, after an illustrious, Pulitzer-prize-winning career as a reporter and editor at Newsday in New York. 234NEXT has exposed massive corruption, an incapacitated president, and many of the problems halting advancement in Nigeria. As a result of threats and dilapidated infrastructure, Dele and his young reporters are forced to run their newsroom on diesel generators in the middle of the megacity of Lagos.
The McNulty Prize is honored to recognize Dele's amazing work and his contributions and example as an Aspen Global Leadership Network Fellow.
