Title of Workshop: Drawing to Learn
This workshop equipped teachers to interweave individual and cooperative drawing projects to jump start learning in the primary art classrooms. Research shows that cooperative work can help all learners, as more advanced students benefit from taking a leadership role in assisting their classmates. Drawing can provide a low-stakes environment, which enhances students’ ability to cooperate as they build skills and knowledge.
